Julia Heinisch/Video Oner (*1990, Linz) studied art history at the University of Vienna and fine arts with a focus on sculpture and transmedial space at the Art University of Linz. With Linz as her base, she vagabonds through public spaces for murals. She then expands quick, intuitive sketches into large-format wall and panel paintings. Predominantly, the drawings thematise figurative forms. Recurring motifs here are animals in motion and the transition from one state to another. The chosen contents are closely connected with the momentary and are in constant metamorphosis. In her works, parts of what once was are just as recognisable as what is in the process of emerging.
