Michel T. Balke

Michel Balke (born 1994 near Hamburg) currently lives and works in Stuttgart. He completed the geography advanced course and studied communication design at KWH and is a graduate of the HFBK Hamburg. Michel is a passionate city walker, pigeon tamer, archaeologist and cartographer. He uses his paintings and drawings to create spaces, to address architectural features or to describe key plate tectonic events. His works divide the world into planes. Using photogrammetry and 3-D software, individual areas of this structure are isolated and made digitally accessible.
